As many of you know, my Dad passed away this summer from Myelofibrosis. It was his wish to stay at home as long as possible however, when he could no longer manage, he had the opportunity to go to the Peterborough Hospice. The staff and volunteers at the hospice were unbelievably kind and caring. They provided professional, compassionate care for my Dad in the final stages of his life. They took the time to get to know him, made him feel special and supported the whole family on a very difficult journey. We were so lucky to have this resource in his community. The Quartermain family is doing this walk in support of the Hospice to show how much we appreciate the work that they do.
