We're hiking to raise funds in memory of Fredi Driscoll, who passed at Hospice Peterborough in April, 2024. Leading up to her retirement, Fredi worked 17 years in long-term care. She valued the trust families placed in her to care for their loved ones and would volunteer for palliative care to provide end-of-life comfort and care. Her family didn't understand what that entailed until we witnessed it in Hospice - the staff and volunteers at Hospice Peterborough do important work to support patients and families alike. Our fundraising efforts aim to acknowledge Fredi's life and also to ensure that future patients and families will benefit from the amazing care that Hospice Peterborough provides.
